Today Benjamin wrote his first Father's Day card. I am not exactly sure what it all said, but I think it went something like this...
Dear Da-da,
I love you very much - more than my pretend food and spatula. You are the funnest person I know. Here is a list of my favorite things to do with you.
1. You are the best at pushing me on the swing - I go so high it takes my breath away every time.
2. I love to crawl all over you, wrestle, and attack you with hugs and kisses.
3. It is the best when you chase me and then tickle me until I laugh so hard I gasp for air.

P.S. Sorry I cry during your favorite shows and in the middle of the night sometimes.
Benjamin LOVES splash parks. We walk to the adjacent neighborhood to use their splash park. I will never do that walk again if it is 3 in the afternoon. I am was starting to think the 1/2 mile was was more like 1/2 marathon. It is way too hot.
Last weekend was Megan and Jonathon Lindsey's wedding. Congradulations to our dear friends (who have been dating for 11 years)! We went to Little Rock for the weekend and had a blast! Benjamin LOVED the hotel. But the hotel could hold nothing to how much he enjoyed the dance floor. He literally danced until he could no longer stand! He danced by himself, with strangers, young and old! He was all over it!
Grandpa(My Dad) wanted all his children to have firstborn sons. Well, it happened just as he prayed and believed God. He now has four male grandchildren (soon to be 5 in about 3 weeks). He enjoys every second! And these boys LOVE Grandpa!
